Thanks to Colleen and her fabulous recipe for Portuguese Sweet Bread, my home currently smells like heaven. Truly, I’m such a lover of food that I really do think heaven very well smell like a bakery. This bread takes a bit of time and care, as any great recipe does, but is well worth the effort. Four loaves headed off to friends today, and the timing is perfect; we are celebrating my church’s 60 birthday today and having a feast after service. I’m happy to be bringing a couple of these along.)
Duda, my Portuguese friend! You’ll have to make this bread. Your peeps know what they are doing. The bakeries in Mozambique are fabulous as well.
