Have you read “Where’d you go Bernadette?” How about “The Invention of Wings?” Or perhaps “The Cuckoo’s Calling?”
I’ve enjoyed all of these recently, the first being my favorite. I have sent it to several friends who I thought would also enjoy it. Such a fun, lighthearted summer read.
Also — if you haven’t seen “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” five bananas, absoloodle. I loved this movie. The cinematography is fantastic, the story enchanting and the soundtrack was promptly purchased afterward and has been on repeat. I love a good happy story that involves a lot of daydreaming and travel.
Go figure.
